The online training is suitable for most small businesses using popular online services such as Canva, Zoom, or Calendly. The focus is on helping small businesses use the popular services that many other small businesses use. Yes. The Academy covers every stage of small business from startup to making your business more efficient and effective. In fact now is the perfect time for you to join The Academy; as not only do we have training for online services that you may be considering, we help you with the technology basics that many small business owners simple don’t understand. It doesn’t matter where you are on your journey, you are able to get support and advice from within the community too, to help you.

With a paid subscription, you get immediate access to everything already inside The Academy. Jump in and start making the most of the software you’re using straight away. We regularly update and add new material too – so your content library will continue growing.

Monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days. Annual subscriptions renew every 365 days.

Not only can you ask questions and get advice, support and feedback any time from within our community; but we also run monthly live Q&A sessions, where you can pre-submit your questions, or even ask them live.

On top of that we also have a private coaching section in the community, where you can get private support and feedback from just Shane. This alone is worth more than the price of admission!

If any of the plans increase in price, as long as you remain a current subscriber you will continue to be billed your original amount. For example, if you currently pay $19 per month and the monthly subscription increases to $29 per month, as long as your subscription remains active, you will continue to be billed $19 per month. If you cancel your subscription and resubscribe at a later date, you will pay the amount applicable at that time.

Not only will you receive our thanks but your monthly membership will be prorated (you only pay for the time you’ve used in the current month) and your annual subscription will start. You annual renewal will be 365 days from the date you upgrade.

It’s called a lapsed subscription but don’t worry. While you won’t have access to The Academy, you have 7 days to fix the problem before your subscription is cancelled.

If your subscription didn’t renew because of an expired credit card, just go to your account page > Subscriptions tab > and click the “update” link there. Doing that will take you to a page where you’ll be able to update your payment details. After doing that, your subscriptions will usually renew in a few business days.

If your subscription didn’t renew because of a lack of funds, transfer funds into the relevant account. We’ll retry every few days until the payment goes through.

After 7 days, you subscription will automatically cancel.

Obviously we’d love it if all of our members stuck around forever – but I’ve worked with subscription sites for long enough to know that that’s never going to happen! So, if you do decide to cancel obviously we’ll be very sad, but if you’re intent on leaving then you’ll be able to do so easily.

If you cancel before the end of your current subscription period, monthly or annual, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current period. For example, if you’re on a monthly subscription and subscribed on the 27th of the month, if you cancel on the 15th, you will continue to have access until the 27th after which your subscription will not automatically renew.

If you cancel before the end of your subscription period, the remaining time will not be refunded.

If you have cancelled your automatically recurring subscription and would like to have continued access to protected content, then you need to simply repurchase it. Remember, if you just canceled your subscription, it may still be active for the remainder of the last billing period, and you must wait for that to expire before re-purchasing. If you would like to repurchase your subscription you can do one of the following:

  • Login to the site and then navigate back to the registration page for that membership and signup again.
  • Login to the site and go to the Account page > Subscriptions tab. Then, next to your old subscription, click the option that says, “Subscribe”. That will take you to the registration page for that membership.

If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to all of the material until the end of your current subscription period. At the end of your current subscription period, you will not longer have access to any material that is part of a paid subscription.

This happens to me all the time. Go to the login page and select Forgot Password?. Enter the email address or username you use to login and select Recover Account.

The email you receive has a link. Selecting that link will show a page where you can enter a new password.
